Book 1: Rent is Due and Reality is Broken
Galek Zim never wanted to be a mechanic. He especially didn't want to inherit a collapsing repair shop on a frozen wasteland of a planet, or hear a smug, omniscient voice narrating his every misstep.
But when smoaklins unionize, customers demand the impossible, and his landlord tries to monetize pest infestations, Galek realizes two things: 1) he might be losing his mind, and 2) that might be the only way to survive this job.
A sci-fi satire about bad decisions, reluctant heroism, and the unbearable weight of being narratable.
